Borno IDP Camp, 2017

I spent some days in Borno, distributing food at two IDP camps. I made lots of friends and ate new foods. On behalf of the board members of KIRWA Foundation, thanks to Rehoboth Foundation for securing the container of food, and thanks to all who donated money for shipping and clearing the container.

Borno is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for welcoming your girl 🙈 Yes Happy New Year!

Food distribution in Abeokuta

Abeokuta, thank you for letting us serve you!

We had the pleasure of distributing food to 60 families in Abeokuta. Thanks to the board members of KIRWA Foundation.

Benue IDP Camp

I left my heart in Benue. It was a privilege meeting the refugees, they’re the strongest people I’ve met. They showed us where they cook and how they save rain water. It was a humbling experience for me.

The women held onto their babies inviting me to eat with them. I’m immensely grateful for Pastor & Mrs. Joel Rimamnunra for being the face of KIRWA Foundation in Benue and Cross River.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sesan Oluwasola continues to travel between Ibadan, Benue, and Cross River, overseeing all the projects and outreaches by KIRWA Foundation. We’re immensely grateful to him.
